Install WordPress

Start the WordPress installation according to your hoster. If necessary, adjust the name of the website and the DB, set/adjust username and password of the administrator for WordPress and DB.

Enable SSL/https, e.g. using Let’s Encrypt certificates.

Install WordPress Theme and Plugins

Log in to WordPress (https:/{domain}/wp-login.php).

Select theme (Themes) and install and activate the theme OceanWP. Delete all other themes.

Install and activate the following plugins:

• Ocean Extra – Add extra features to OceanWP (https://wordpress.org/plugins/ocean-extra/)
• Elementor– Website Builder (https://wordpress.org/plugins/elementor/)
• Enlighter – Customizable Syntax Highlighter (https://wordpress.org/plugins/enlighter/)
• WP External Links – Open external links in new tab, add external link icon (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-external-links/)
• Polylang – Making WordPress multilingual (https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/)

Setup für OceanWP laufen lassen

Select Plugins and run the setup wizard for OceanWP.

Bevorzugte Domäne festlegen (example from plesk/Metanet)

Under Websites & Domains, click Hosting Settings of the new website.

And under Prefered domain select your URL:.
